2013 MET Ball Fashion Recap: Monique, Valentino, Burberry, and more!

At last night’s punk themed Met Ball, we saw a lot of spikes, side cleavage  and high slits. By the end of the night, we were all dying to own a spiky Burberry leather jacket, bleach our hair, and not give a hoot (of course this would be done while still maintaining glam status)!

Whether you loved or hated last night’s punk theme, we believe that everyone can relate to wanting to declare rebel status every now and then….;)

Here are our thought’s on who passed the test on reflecting the nights punk theme while maintaining their cool girl glamour.

First up, is our girl crush, Nina Dobrev! Nina looked ultra sleek and fabulous in a custom made black Chantilly lace molded bustier jumpsuit with a black leather harness tulle overskirt with horsehair trim by Monique Lhuillier. So edgy and cool!! Bravo Nina!

Next up is Burberry model, Cara Delevingne. Cara wore a studded ultra-plunging neck column gown, clutch bag and heels. Cara’s sexy attitude and piled on Dominic Jones jewelry give us that good girl/bad girl vibe which we all secretly want….:)

Woah now! The main reason we selected Anne Hathaway is twofold; one she showed off her new beach blonde do and she wore a skin tight see-through gown. Mrs. Hathaway’s gown is reportedly a vintage Valentino dress from 1992. I’d say this makes up for her outfit mishap at the 2013 Oscars. Three pretty extreme punk moves….way to go Anne!

Who we’re your top picks?

And just so we’re clear, Madonna, still reigns as the Queen of Punk!
