As Milan prepares itself for Fashion Week, we’re still “ooooing” and “ahhing” over the top trends that strutted down our runways last week. From the richness of the color purple seen at Vera Wang, to the military tailored looks at Richard Chai, we can’t wait for fall to get here.
Two of my favorite trends seen at New York Fashion Week were:
Quilted Miniskirts: As a lady who loves wearing skirts, but also loves staying warm; a quilted mini skirt sounds perfect. A quilted miniskirt, is the perfect flirty piece to pair with over the knee boots or booties and a chunky knit sweater.
Flannel Jumpsuits: Who doesn’t love feeling comfortable and sexy at the same time? Enter the jumpsuit. Try pairing a fitted charcoal colored jumpsuit with rockin’ snakeskin booties, and a colored clutch for a fun night on the town look.
