It’s that time of the year again…
Three words…Summer Sample Sale!
We are having our annual Summer Sample Sale on July 18th, 2010 from 10am-2pm.
For those who are not familiar with sample sales I’ve come up with a Q&A for frequently asked questions. If you have any questions that I did not address here, please feel free to ask!
Q: What exactly is a sample sale?
A: Sample sales are for girls with “silver spoon taste, on a plastic spoon budget.” Designer gowns such as Monique Lhuillier, Kenneth Pool, Carolina Herrera, Rivini, Reem Acra, Jenny Lee and more are marked down up to 75% off their original pricing.
There is only one sample of each gown.
Q: When should I arrive?
A: Doors open at 10am.
You are more than welcome to come earlier and wait for the doors to open.
Actually, that is exactly the case.
Brides come before the doors open and wait for the event to begin.
Remember ladies … first come, first serve.
Now if you want to camp out the night
before… I don’t recommend it because of safety hazards, but whatever floats your boat. 😉

Q: What should I expect once the doors are opened?
A: The sale is first come, first serve. We do not let everyone in at once due to our boutique size. We let in approximately 7-10 brides at a time. Once in, we have conveniently placed gowns in price order. You may grab up to 5 gowns at a time, but you can only hold the gowns for 15 minutes. This is to allow all guests of the sample sale to try on as many gowns as possible.

We mean it when we say only 5 gowns at a time. Try not to be like this bride … because we will take the gowns away from you!
Q: What do I need to bring?
A: Other than your fabulous self? If you are modest, I would recommend you bring a cover up, such as a robe. You will be trying on the gowns on the sales floor. I would also bring some sort of entertainment if you decide to come before doors open to keep yourself from boredom, iPods, books, crossword puzzles, ipads….etc.
Q: Who should I bring?
A: Bring a trust worthy friend to help you get in and out of the gowns. We ask for no men because other brides will be dressing and undressing. Lastly, we ask you not to bring an entourage. We understand that Grandma Betsey, Aunt Lilly, and cousin Jane all want to help you pick out your dress, but unfortunately space is limited.

Bring a trust worthy friend or relative, just in case the decision-making process gets complicated and you need a right hand woman! 😉
Q: Do I have to come to the sample sale to purchase a gown?
A: No, you do not physically have to be in the store to purchase a gown.
Purchasing by phone starts 30 minutes after the sample sale begins.
Q: So I’ve purchased a sample gown, what do I do next?
